Welcome to LivestockMart Nigeria ("the Platform", "we", "us"), operated by LivestockMart Nigeria (CAC RC: 1509603), Nigeria. By creating an account, posting, messaging or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. You must be at least 18 years old.
1. What we are (and are not)
LivestockMart Nigeria is an online classified-advertisements platform that lets registered users list, discover and contact each other about livestock, veterinary services, feed and equipment. We are not a party to any transaction, not a buyer, seller, agent, broker, auctioneer, transporter or veterinarian. Every sale, purchase, service and payment is a private agreement strictly between the users involved.
2. No warranty on listings or animals
Listings are created by users. We do not own, inspect, verify, endorse or guarantee any animal, product, service, price, description, photo, health status, breed, weight, vaccination record, ownership or legality. You use the Platform and rely on any listing entirely at your own risk.
3. Buyer and seller responsibilities
Buyers must inspect animals in person and obtain veterinary/health certification before paying. Sellers warrant that they lawfully own what they list and have the right to sell it, and that their listing is accurate and not misleading. Users are solely responsible for compliance with all Nigerian laws, including animal health, veterinary, disease-control and livestock movement permit requirements.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, LivestockMart Nigeria, its owners, staff and partners are not liable for any loss, damage, fraud, misrepresentation, dispute, personal injury, disease, death of animals, financial loss or any direct, indirect or consequential damages arising from listings, transactions, user conduct, or use of the Platform. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
5. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold LivestockMart Nigeria harmless from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including legal fees) arising from your listings, your transactions, your content, or your breach of these Terms or any law.
6. Prohibited conduct
You must not: list stolen, diseased-concealed, endangered or wildlife/protected species or anything illegal to trade; post false, fraudulent or misleading content; impersonate others; harass, threaten or defraud users; scrape or misuse data; attempt to bypass fees or take first contact off-platform to evade safety monitoring; or upload unlawful content. Violations may lead to ad removal, warnings, suspension or permanent ban without refund.
7. Accounts & verification
You must provide accurate registration details and verify your email. You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity on your account. A "Verified" badge reflects a paid/admin verification step and is not a guarantee of trustworthiness.
8. Subscriptions & fees
Posting requires a prepaid subscription (Starter, Basic, Standard, Verified Business or Platinum). Plans grant a stated number of ads (or unlimited for Platinum) for the stated period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on notice. Failed/charged-back payments may suspend posting.
9. Messaging is monitored
To deter fraud and resolve disputes, in-platform messages are stored and may be reviewed by administrators. By using the messaging feature you consent to this. Keep all communication on the Platform; off-platform dealings are at your own risk.
10. Content licence
You retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and promote your listings on and for the Platform.
11. Moderation, suspension & termination
We may, at our discretion and without liability, approve, reject, edit, feature or remove any ad, and warn, suspend or ban any user, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes between users must be resolved between them. Any dispute with the Platform shall be subject to the courts of Nigeria, after good-faith negotiation.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means acceptance. Last updated: 2026.
